Yale Microbial Lab

The summer after my freshman year I worked at the Yale Institute for Biospheric Studies in the EEB department at Yale. I originally worked under Cynthia Winkworth (no longer at Yale) and Margaret Riley who is now at Umass Amherst. I was a young lad then and people most of the time just told me what to do, which involved pouring thousands of plates. Sometimes they gave me some freedom and had me design some images for a poster, presentations and seminars. When I was really lucky they had me do spectrophotometry, centrifuge, gel electrophoresis, southern blotting.
